White House Official Discloses XRP and ADA Holdings as Trump Reports $57M Crypto Income

White House Director Thomas Thorgersen has revealed personal investments in cryptocurrencies XRP and Cardano (ADA), signaling heightened institutional interest in digital assets within U.S. political spheres. Concurrently, President Donald Trump’s financial disclosures show substantial earnings exceeding $57.4 million from his decentralized finance venture, World Liberty Financial (WLFI).

Thorgersen, serving as Special Assistant to President Trump, disclosed holdings of XRP and ADA each valued between $1,001 and $15,000. These assets are held in a Coinbase wallet according to official documentation. Both Thorgersen and President Trump formally certified their financial disclosures as “true, complete, and correct,” emphasizing transparency in their crypto-related activities.

President Trump’s filings further detail his ownership of 15.75 billion governance tokens in WLFI. Independent analytics indicate his broader cryptocurrency portfolio exceeds $1.5 million, including holdings of the TROG token. Market speculation suggests potential expansion of Trump’s crypto interests, with rumors circulating about a possible meeting with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.
