Brazilian securitization firm VERT has launched a comprehensive private credit platform leveraging the XRP Ledger (XRPL) blockchain.
The platform’s debut facilitated the issuance of an Agricultural Credit Certificate (CRA) worth 700 million Brazilian reals, equivalent to approximately $130 million.
Utilizing both the native XRPL and its compatible Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) sidechain, the platform provides real-time monitoring capabilities for critical financial flows.
This includes tracking loan disbursements, repayments, and cash flows throughout the lifespan of the assets.
VERT’s initiative aims to significantly improve transparency and efficiency within the private credit market by harnessing blockchain technology’s inherent capabilities for immutable record-keeping and instant verification.
