Tron Surpasses Ethereum in USDT Dominance and Fee Generation

The Tron blockchain has achieved significant milestones, surpassing Ethereum in USDT supply and transaction volume while generating substantial cumulative fees. Driven by its efficient network and rising demand for its native token TRX, Tron now hosts billions in stablecoin value and transactions.

Tron’s cumulative network fees have reached the $2 billion mark. This reflects consistent network utilization, underpinned by over 14 billion transactions processed to date, with fees primarily payable in TRX.

Moreover, Tron has solidified its position as the leading blockchain for USDT liquidity. It currently hosts over $80 billion worth of the stablecoin, outpacing Ethereum. Growth remains robust, with more than $22 billion in USDT minted specifically on the Tron network so far in the current year.

The network’s efficiency translates into high transaction throughput. Tron facilitates over $20 billion in daily USDT transfers, exceeding Ethereum’s daily transfer volume of approximately $16 billion. Users are increasingly favoring Tron for its speed and lower transaction costs.

Enhanced network utility is evident in transaction volume. Tron consistently processes between 8 to 9 million transactions daily, nearly double the levels seen during previous bear market conditions.

Supporting this network activity, the price of TRX has shown steady appreciation. Strong volume accumulation and positive signals from the Chaikin Money Flow indicator suggest sustained investor interest in backing the network’s expansion.
