TRON Founder Justin Sun Becomes Youngest Chinese Commercial Astronaut on Blue Origin Flight

Justin Sun, the prominent founder of the TRON blockchain, has successfully completed a suborbital spaceflight aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard spacecraft, achieving the distinction of becoming the youngest Chinese commercial astronaut.

The flight lasted approximately 10 minutes and crossed the internationally recognized boundary of space, known as the Kármán line, situated at an altitude of about 100 kilometers. This duration aligns with typical New Shepard suborbital flights.

Following the flight, Sun described the experience as a long-awaited personal achievement. He notably emphasized the profound perspective gained, highlighting the small size of Earth when viewed from space.

This mission underscores the expanding role of private aerospace companies, such as Blue Origin, in advancing space exploration and enabling commercial astronautics. Sun’s successful venture also represents a significant step for China’s growing involvement in the burgeoning private spaceflight sector.
