Strategy has solidified its position as the world’s largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, amassing over 601,000 BTC through innovative financing mechanisms and systematic acquisition. The achievement underscores the company’s dominant role among institutional cryptocurrency investors.
The milestone follows Strategy’s rollout of three classes of preferred stock—STRK, STRF, and STRD—each offering distinct risk-exposure and dividend structures to diversify its investor base. This initiative directly supports the firm’s ambitious ’42/42′ capital strategy targeting $84 billion in funding by 2027, bolstered by already secured commitments exceeding $44.3 billion.
Despite a recent deceleration in BTC purchases, Strategy maintains robust treasury resilience with conservative debt management. The company faces no significant debt obligations until 2028, positioning it to weather market fluctuations. With a $118.8 billion market capitalization, Strategy leads 141 publicly listed companies in Bitcoin reserves, significantly outpacing competitors including Marathon Digital and Metaplanet.
Co-founder Michael Saylor emphasized the structural durability of Strategy’s capital framework, asserting its capacity to endure extreme market volatility. The model remains solvent even under stress scenarios involving Bitcoin price corrections of up to 90%.
