Shibarium Burn Poll Gains Momentum Amid Sharp Decline in SHIB Token Burns

The Shibarium network’s SHIB-BONE burn poll has mobilized significant community participation, with voters deploying over 120,000 BONE tokens to shape future burning protocols. This governance initiative reveals diverse preferences for managing token supply.

Current voting patterns indicate a leading preference for burning BONE when trading below the $2 threshold while shifting burns to SHIB tokens when BONE exceeds $2. This strategic proposal aims to optimize deflationary mechanisms based on market dynamics.

Meanwhile, SHIB burns show dramatic reductions, with daily rates plunging by 95.08% and weekly burns declining by 70.78%. Despite this slowdown, historical burns remain substantial—over 410 trillion SHIB tokens have been permanently removed, equating to nearly half of the original circulating supply.

The poll outcomes reflect community-led efforts to balance token scarcity with ecosystem expansion. Key Shiba Inu project leaders publicly endorse this collaborative governance approach, emphasizing decentralized decision-making for sustainable tokenomics.
