SharpLink Gaming has substantially expanded its cryptocurrency reserves by accumulating 188,478 Ethereum (ETH), positioning the company as the second-largest corporate holder of Ethereum globally following only the Ethereum Foundation itself.
The acquisitions were financed through the strategic sale of 2.54 million company shares, which generated $27.7 million in net proceeds specifically allocated for Ethereum purchases.
Through active staking activities, SharpLink has earned approximately 120 ETH in rewards since June 2, amounting to over $293,000 at current valuations.
This treasury diversification reflects a growing corporate trend of integrating cryptocurrency assets into balance sheets. SharpLink’s transparent operations and staking participation are anticipated to strengthen Ethereum’s network security and market liquidity.
