Robinhood Markets, Inc. has significantly expanded its financial product offerings by launching tokenized US stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for customers across 31 European Union and European Economic Area countries. The newly available suite includes over 200 traditional equity instruments tokenized on the Arbitrum blockchain.
Simultaneously, Robinhood disclosed development plans for its proprietary Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain utilizing Arbitrum’s technology. This upcoming infrastructure aims to enhance real-world asset tokenization capabilities and enable frictionless 24/7 trading of tokenized securities.
The company introduced cryptocurrency perpetual futures trading in its European markets, featuring up to 3x leverage for continuous exposure to digital assets. On its US platform, Robinhood expanded crypto services to include regulated Ethereum and Solana staking options for yield generation.
Collectively, these initiatives represent Robinhood’s strategy to bridge traditional finance with cryptocurrency through a unified platform offering tokenized securities, derivatives, and staking services within a single ecosystem.
