Recent releases have been processed in tranches, causing confusion among XRP holders about distribution timelines. Schwartz emphasized that contractual escrow releases do not instantly reflect on the XRP Ledger after initiation.
Approximately 35.6 billion XRP remains held in Ripple’s escrow as of current reports, representing a significant portion of the token’s managed supply.
The company advises users to monitor the XRP Ledger directly for real-time updates on escrow activities rather than relying on secondary reports or delayed notifications.
