Sensitive data belonging to thousands of Americans is at risk after a cyberattack on a financial services company. In a new filing with the Office of the Maine Attorney General, financial services firm RiteCheck Cashing says an unauthorized user gained access to the company’s server on or around August 25th of 2024 and accessed sensitive personal data belonging to customers and employees.
