Victims of a data breach that placed personally identifying information of hundreds of thousands of people at risk are set to get paid in a new settlement. According to the settlement administrator’s portal , the Chicago-based global insurance broker Hub International will pay $4.65 million to settle a class action lawsuit that accused it of enabling a “massive and preventable data breach” between December of 2022 and January of 2023.
