NCA Survey Cites Trust and Knowledge Gaps as Key Hurdles to US Crypto Adoption

A recent survey commissioned by the National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA) identifies a significant lack of understanding and persistent trust issues as major obstacles preventing widespread cryptocurrency adoption in the United States.

Approximately 70% of respondents revealed a lack of understanding regarding blockchain technology and cryptocurrency mechanics, highlighting a critical information deficit.

Concerns about security vulnerabilities, potential fraud, and overall transparency are widespread among those not using cryptocurrency, negatively impacting consumer confidence.

Backed by a substantial $50 million grant from Ripple, the NCA aims to tackle these challenges through targeted educational campaigns and advocacy efforts.

Its mission focuses on bridging the knowledge gap in the US population and advocating for clearer regulatory policies surrounding digital assets.

Ripple executives, including Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty, are actively engaging with policymakers to help shape regulatory frameworks and improve market perception.

The survey findings strongly underscore the necessity for widespread educational initiatives to transform public curiosity into tangible confidence in cryptocurrency within the US market.
