Strategy holds nearly 600,000 BTC, valued at over $66 billion, while Japanese investment firm Metaplanet has accumulated 15,550 BTC. Metaplanet’s CEO, Simon Gerovich, expressed enthusiasm for Saylor’s tweet, aligning with the company’s strategy to incorporate Bitcoin into corporate finance.
Bitcoin’s new all-time high reflects growing institutional adoption, with companies like Strategy and Metaplanet contributing to market stability. Metaplanet is also exploring opportunities to further integrate Bitcoin into traditional financial systems, including the potential acquisition of a digital bank in Japan.
