Jack Dorsey’s Sun Day App Leverages AI for Personalized Sun Exposure Tracking in Beta Release

Block CEO Jack Dorsey has launched a beta version of the Sun Day application, utilizing artificial intelligence and scientific data to monitor sun exposure and vitamin D synthesis.

The app, available via Apple’s TestFlight, provides personalized health insights by analyzing variables including user location, skin tone, age, and clothing type. This approach aims to offer tailored recommendations for safe sun exposure.

Sun Day’s beta phase is designed to collect user feedback prior to a full public launch. It incorporates manual input features intended to enhance the accuracy and safety of its recommendations.

Developed under Dorsey’s Block, the app integrates AI-driven analytics powered by the company’s AI assistant, Goose. This reflects Dorsey’s ongoing experimental focus on technology applications.

While currently centered on sun exposure metrics, potential future enhancements could include expanded health tracking and more sophisticated AI recommendations. Sun Day aligns with Dorsey’s broader interests in decentralized technology, blockchain, and AI-driven health innovations.
