Ethereum Whale Divests $2.61 Million in ETH, July Disposals Surpass $897 Million

A significant Ethereum whale has executed a major transaction by selling 1,000 ETH for approximately $2.61 million. This disposal occurs within a broader pattern of substantial divestment activity observed throughout July.

The whale’s cumulative sales during July reached 358,599.97 ETH, representing a total liquidation value exceeding $897 million. Notably, the whale acquired these assets at an initial cost basis of approximately $0.31 per ETH.

Following these dispositions, the prominent holder maintains a substantial residual position of 23,619 ETH, valued at approximately $61.56 million based on current market prices. This transaction underscores significant liquidity movements occurring within Ethereum’s ecosystem.
