Ethereum attracted $1.59 billion in cryptocurrency fund inflows this week, marking its second-largest weekly increase on record. This influx pushed Ethereum’s year-to-date total to $7.79 billion, already exceeding its full-year 2024 total.
In a notable market shift, Bitcoin experienced $175 million in outflows during the same period. Concurrently, alternative digital assets saw robust investment interest, with Solana gaining $311 million and XRP drawing $189 million, indicating selective capital rotation across the sector.
July witnessed record-breaking cumulative inflows of $11.2 billion across cryptocurrency funds, with U.S.-based investments contributing $2 billion to the monthly total. Ethereum’s market share climbed to approximately 12%, representing its highest level in five years, largely driven by exchange-traded fund activity and strengthening investor confidence in the asset.
