CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju has asserted that Bitcoin’s traditional cyclical pattern, used for years to predict market movements, is no longer a reliable indicator.
The CEO argues that fundamental changes in market structure, primarily driven by increased institutional involvement and evolving macroeconomic conditions, have rendered past cycles irrelevant. Regulatory developments are also cited as a key factor shaping Bitcoin’s current phase.
This shift signifies a move away from reliance on historical cycle-based prediction models. According to CryptoQuant, market participants seeking to understand Bitcoin’s trajectory must now place greater emphasis on institutional flows and broader macro-environmental factors over historical price patterns.
