SEC Delays Decision on Grayscale’s Spot Polkadot ETF Application

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has postponed its decision regarding Grayscale Investments’ application for a spot Polkadot (DOT) exchange-traded fund (ETF).

This delay represents a setback for Grayscale’s efforts to launch a fund providing direct exposure to the Polkadot cryptocurrency. The SEC’s notice did not specify the reasons behind the postponement.

The regulatory body will require additional time to review the proposal before making a final determination on whether to approve or reject the spot Polkadot ETF.
