Ripple Launches $200,000 Grant Program in Japan to Boost XRP Ledger Web3 Startups

Ripple has unveiled a $200,000 grant initiative in Japan to accelerate Web3 innovation on the XRP Ledger. The program targets startups developing decentralized finance solutions, tokenized assets, and digital payment systems, providing selected projects with up to $200,000 in funding alongside technical and business mentorship.

Operated under Ripple’s Japan and Korea Fund, the initiative prioritizes projects demonstrating technical excellence and scalability potential. Ripple is collaborating with Web3 Salon and Japan’s External Trade Organization (JETRO) to deliver networking opportunities, educational workshops, and regulatory compliance guidance to grant recipients.

Japan’s progressive blockchain regulations and strategic partnerships—including with financial giant SBI Holdings—strengthen Ripple’s regional presence and XRP adoption efforts. The program will host community events through March 2026 featuring pitch sessions and ecosystem development discussions to foster startup growth.
