The Cardano Foundation has disclosed a significant increase in the total value of its cryptocurrency assets, reaching $659.1 million.
This marks a substantial rise from the previously reported value of $478.24 million. A key shift within the portfolio sees Cardano’s native token, ADA, now constituting 77% of the foundation’s holdings, reflecting a notable increase from its prior position.
The composition change involved a reduction in the Bitcoin allocation, which decreased to approximately 15%.
Further details reveal the foundation held 599.2 million ADA tokens. Additionally, it generated income through staking activities, earning 17.1 million ADA in rewards during 2024, achieving an annual yield of 2.7%.
