Blockchain Transactions Soar to Record 342 Million Weekly, Solana Leads Volume Surge

The blockchain industry recorded a significant milestone this week, processing over 342 million transactions. This unprecedented volume marks a new high point for user activity and network utilization across major platforms.

Solana emerged as the dominant chain, handling approximately 59.46% of these transactions. The surge underscores heightened engagement within its ecosystem.

BNB Chain secured the position of the second-largest contributor, accounting for 18.76% of the total weekly transactions. Its status as the blockchain hosting the highest number of decentralized applications (Dapps) remained a key factor in its performance.

Significantly, Tron surpassed Ethereum in processing transactions for the USDT stablecoin, demonstrating robust ecosystem credibility and user adoption.

Underpinning BNB Chain’s efficiency is the recent Maxwell Hard Fork upgrade, which successfully reduced block processing times to just 0.75 seconds.

This record-breaking transaction volume across leading networks signals potential acceleration in crypto market growth, reflecting increasing adoption rates and heightened overall network activity.
