BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) has accumulated over 2 million Ether tokens, demonstrating robust institutional confidence in Ethereum’s ecosystem. This milestone coincides with U.S. spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds collectively managing $13.5 billion in assets, marking significant mainstream adoption of the cryptocurrency.
ETHA currently holds 2,001,081 ETH valued at more than $5.5 billion, comprising over 1.65% of Ethereum’s circulating supply. Simultaneously, total assets across U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs represent nearly 3.8% of Ethereum’s total market capitalization, reflecting substantial institutional capital allocation.
The fund recently surged 17% in weekly trading to reach $22.80 per share, driven by accelerating institutional inflows. Market analysts observe that this concentrated ETH ownership through regulated ETFs is transforming Ethereum’s liquidity profile, potentially lowering volatility and enhancing network stability.
Major participants in the U.S. Ethereum ETF sector include Fidelity, Bitwise, Grayscale, and BlackRock, collectively driving institutional participation in the cryptocurrency market.
