BlackRock’s Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) has surged past $10 billion in assets under management after doubling its holdings from $5 billion in just ten days, making it the third-fastest ETF to achieve this milestone.
The fund captured $1.76 billion of the $2.18 billion total inflows into Ethereum ETFs last week, marking the sector’s strongest weekly performance since launch.
Concurrently, Ethereum spot trading volume surpassed Bitcoin’s for the first time in over a year, with ETH recording $25.7 billion compared to Bitcoin’s $24.4 billion weekly trading volume.
BlackRock has filed to integrate staking features into its ETHA product, potentially enhancing investor appeal through alignment with decentralized finance mechanisms.
The rapid ETF expansion and volume milestone reflect growing institutional confidence in Ethereum’s ecosystem and accelerating adoption of spot-based cryptocurrency investment vehicles.
