Binance will temporarily pause deposits and withdrawals for the Polygon (MATIC) network starting at 11:10 UTC on July 1, 2025, to support Polygon’s scheduled network upgrade and hard fork. The suspension coincides with Polygon reaching block height 73,440,256 and aims to ensure network stability during the transition.
Trading of POL tokens will remain fully operational throughout the maintenance period, allowing users to continue exchange activities without interruption. The upgrade forms part of Polygon’s strategic initiative to enhance network throughput, reduce transaction fees, and improve overall system stability.
Binance’s coordinated suspension with Polygon developers seeks to minimize user disruption while reinforcing Polygon’s position as a leading Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution. Deposit and withdrawal services will resume once the upgraded network demonstrates stable performance.
