Binance Delists Viberate (VIB) Over Compliance Issues, Token Plunges 95% From Peak

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has removed Viberate (VIB) from its trading platform effective April 30, 2025. The delisting decision stems from VIB’s non-compliance with Binance’s recently updated listing standards, according to an official announcement.

The removal triggered immediate market turmoil, with VIB’s price plummeting to $0.037 – a 95% collapse from its 2018 all-time high. The token faced intensified sell-offs and severe liquidity constraints following the announcement, disproportionately impacting smaller investors unable to exit positions efficiently.

This event underscores the increasing regulatory scrutiny facing ERC-20 tokens and highlights critical importance of ongoing compliance with exchange requirements. Industry analysts warn that such delistings often result in permanent liquidity erosion and significantly undermine investor confidence in affected assets.

Experts further caution that token projects failing to maintain exchange listing standards risk triggering abrupt value destruction and market destabilization, urging greater diligence from blockchain-based enterprises.
