Binance Announces MKR Delisting Ahead of MakerDAO’s Token Migration to SKY

Binance will remove all Maker (MKR) spot trading pairs from its platform by September 15, 2025, as part of MakerDAO’s transition to a new token infrastructure. This delisting affects four key trading pairs: MKR/BTC, MKR/TRY, MKR/USDC, and MKR/USDT.

Deposits and withdrawals of MKR tokens will halt on September 15 at 3:30 a.m. UTC. Concurrently, existing MKR balances will be automatically converted to the new Sky (SKY) token for user convenience following MakerDAO’s migration plan.

New SKY trading pairs—SKY/BTC, SKY/TRY, SKY/USDC, and SKY/USDT—will commence trading on September 17 at 8:00 a.m. UTC, establishing SKY as the successor asset on Binance’s spot market.

As a precursor to the spot delisting, MKR will be removed from Cross and Isolated Margin products on September 8, 2025. No new MKR margin positions may be opened after this date, with all existing positions automatically closing by 9:00 a.m. UTC on September 8.
