Bankless co-founder Ryan Sean Adams has forecasted that institutional investment will be the primary catalyst for Ethereum’s (ETH) next bull market. Adams observed that ETH has yet to surpass its all-time high achieved during its peak performance periods, specifically noting levels from late 2021 and the 2017 bull cycle.
Adams emphasized the significant role institutions are poised to play in driving the next price surge. He identified the growing trend of major entities accumulating substantial ETH positions as a key indicator of this emerging institutional adoption.
The prediction coincides with reports such as SharpLink Gaming holding 321,000 ETH. This sizable holding has reportedly generated an unrealized profit of approximately $204 million, demonstrating a strategic ETH accumulation approach akin to that previously employed by MicroStrategy for Bitcoin.
